
Steamed Egg Custard

This is a delicious dish that everyone can easily make. When you have no appetite or when your stomach is not feeling well, a bowl of warm and nutritious steamed egg custard will definitely make you feel better.
Ingredients
- Eggs
- White pepper powder
- Salt
- Soy sauce
- Sesame oil
Procedures
- Beat 5 eggs and mix them thoroughly with half a teaspoon of salt. Stir the mixture for at least one minute.
- Add 1 teaspoon of white pepper powder and warm water equal to 1.5 times the volume of the beaten eggs into the egg mixture. Stir well.
- Strain the egg mixture to remove any foam.
- Pour the egg mixture into serving bowls and cover them with plastic wrap. Make a few holes in the plastic wrap to allow steam to escape.
- Place the bowls into a steamer over boiling water and steam for 15 minutes. After steaming, turn off the heat and let them sit for 5 minutes.
- Remove the bowls from the steamer, and drizzle 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over the steamed egg custard.
- Now, it's ready to be served.
