Ingredients

  • Cod fish
  • Soft tofu
  • White pepper powder
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Spicy cabbage (kimchi)

Procedures

  1. Cut the tofu into square pieces and finely chop 1 spring onion (scallion).
  2. If the cod fish has skin, clean it properly. Then, cut the cod fish into pieces.
  3. Mix the cod fish with 1 teaspoon of white pepper powder, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Heat oil in a pot and add the cod fish. Fry the cod fish until both sides turn lightly golden.
  5. Add the chopped spring onion to the pot and pour in 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. Cover the pot and cook for two minutes.
  6. Open the pot, add half a can of spicy cabbage (kimchi), and pour in enough water to cover all the ingredients.
  7. Add the tofu pieces, cover the pot, and bring the soup to a boil over high heat. Cook for three minutes.
  8. Taste the soup and add more salt according to personal preference.
  9. Finally, cut 1 spring onion and 1 coriander stem into small pieces and add them to the pot. Then, the dish is ready to be served.
