
Napa cabbage salad

This is a simple yet flavorful appetizer, made with healthy ingredients. This dish is perfect for stimulating your and your family's appetite, getting you all ready to enjoy the upcoming main course.
Ingredients
- 1/4 napa cabbage
- chili flakes (chili oil)
- Shanxi aged vinegar (balsamic vinegar)
- rice vinegar
- salt
- sugar
Procedures
- Cut the napa cabbage into strips.
- Wash the napa cabbage strips using tap water. Make sure to filter as much water out after cleaning.
- Mince 5-6 cloves of garlic. If you do not have chili oil, heat 4-5 tablespoons of vegetable oil until smoking, and pour on 3-4 tablespoons of chili flakes.
- In a small bowl, mix the garlic mince, chili oil, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar.
- Mix the napa cabbage with the sauce. Taste it and optionally add more salt/vinegar according to your preference.
