This is a delicious dish that everyone can easily make. When you have no appetite or when your stomach is not feeling well, a bowl of warm and nutritious steamed egg custard will definitely make you feel better.

Ingredients

  • Chicken wings (12-14 pieces)
  • Coke
  • Ginger
  • Soy sauce
  • Cooking wine

Procedures

  1. Make two cuts on each chicken wing with a knife, cutting deep until you hit the bone. Slice a small piece of ginger into ginger slices.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine and 3 tablespoons of soy sauce to the chicken wings, mix well, and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. After marinating the chicken wings, pat dry the surface moisture with kitchen paper towels.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, and when the oil is hot, add the chicken wings and ginger slices to pan-fry. Fry until both sides of the chicken wings turn golden brown.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine to the pan, stir-fry for 20 seconds, then pour in the coke. The coke should cover the chicken wings.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then continue heating over high heat until the sauce thickens.
  7. Mix 2 teaspoons of potato starch (or cornstarch) with 2 tablespoons of water until smooth, then pour the mixture into the pan and stir well. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  8. Serve the Coke Chicken Wings on a plate.
